Task

Mint Link approached Godev to refine their user experience, specifically within the personal account section of their service. The primary objectives were to develop an advanced search system that would allow users to effortlessly find services and suppliers across the platform, and to integrate email services to enhance communication through customizable email notifications

Mint Link is a dynamic platform serving the MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, and Exhibitions) industry. It enables companies to find partners, explore deals, conduct tenders, and manage workflows efficiently

Technologies

To achieve these solutions, we leveraged a technology stack that includes PHP for robust server-side development, the Yii2 Framework to expedite development with a reliable PHP framework, Docker for consistent environment deployment and scalability, MySQL for managing data with a proven relational database system, and Git for facilitating version control and collaborative development

We introduced a system where:

To empower users in finding the most relevant services, we developed an advanced search feature that considers multiple facets such as service names and descriptions, service type categories, and supplier names. This robust search capability ensures users can quickly locate the exact services or providers they need

Customizable email notifications

Recognizing the importance of timely updates, we integrated an email notification system where users can:

Set Notification Frequency. Choose how often they receive updates—be it instant alerts, daily digests, or weekly summaries
Personalize Content. Receive notifications relevant to their interests and activities on the platform

This feature enhances user engagement by delivering information when and how users prefer
